Visits: 1,548 When a person says that s/he does not want to be judged by the exterior but only by what is within, when a person say s/he doesn't want to be appreciated by what s/he has but by what s/he is, the worst thing you can do to her/him is to do as s/he requested: for whenever such obvious a thing needs to be stated, it is exactly what s/he is and what is within that founds the reasons for unfavourable conclusions.  
 
You are going to be surprised to see how many persons who ostent what they have (or have not...), be it physical or properties, and who none the less claim not to want to be judged by what they have but by what they are, actually have nothing but what they seem to supply.  
 
So, if they would be judged only by that, they might even pass at times. But no, they have one further vanity: that of being held superlative on both accounts.  
 
Yet, once approached on the account of the former (the exterior, or the body) and later rejected exactly on the account of the latter (the interior, or the mind) upon which they solicited your unfocused attention, they declare themselves utterly unsatisfied, ravishly mystified, and ominously misunderstood.
