Sister Sinister: Glamour and Burlesque Inaugurate The Era Of the CladTease, Through The Beauty and Professionalism of This Stunning And Sensuous, Luscious Model

Seeing Sister Sinister, one would wonder what the French writer Roland Barthes would have written about her, considering he wrote a wonderful short essay on strip-tease; at his time the burlesque and the glamour fetish already existed, though probably less documented than today.  
 
Barthes wrote: "as if eroticism here went no further than a sort of delicious terror, whose ritual signs have only to be announced to evoke at once the idea of sex and its conjuration (...) There will therefore be in striptease a whole series of coverings placed upon the body of the woman in proportion as she pretends to strip it bare."  
 
Glamour fetish is striptease, reversed.  
 
In fact, in (so to call it) standard striptease eroticism does not expose nakedness, as Barthes suggests, because it is actually a hymn to being covered, not exposed: the woman "pretends to strip bare".  
Here, instead, it pretends to be covered, and yet it is as if naked: if striptease alludes to nudity by calling in clothes that slip off, cladtease does that by calling in fabrics that slip on.  
 
As it can be sensed and seen, fetish glamour appears an indispensable complement to strip-tease, and yet it ought to be called: clad-tease.  
 
A few names have made of fetish glamour a fast legend: Dita Von Teese * , for one. One might be induced to believe that this new strip-tease that I just re-dubbed cladtease would have been an easy business: in fact, its clothes are so sophisticated that they seem to be fit to make look amazing nearly whomever would wear them.  
 
But, alas: as it so frequently happens in life, this is no longer exclusively a matter of fabrication: in order to be classy, a cladtease needs to be done well, just like a striptease does, and we all know that no one is more of a teaser than the stripper (should we say cladder?) whose mindset becomes the s-trip.  
Pick your favorite then: cladtease or cladtrip.  
 
In both cases, the above applies to Sister Sinister too: the reason cladtease appears so glamour, so attractive, so seducing, stays not in the clothes, but in the fact that a woman like her with her sophisticated mindset sports those clothes around - put them on another woman, and the effect my seem laughable and ludicrous.
