I already have a website, what can a poster do for me?

Approximately from one to two months but only for the first indexing. Once indexed, you stay.

I clicked the button to translate my poster into another language, why only a part of it is translated?
Only the contents that belong to the Full Poster system may be translated with certainty and reliability. In fact, the contents that you inserted on your own manually cannot be translated: it is not possible to guess what is the language you chose because you could even insert bilingual contents, which would be legitimate. Full Poster may safely translate only those contents it knows with certainty, and these are only those that belong to the Full Poster database system.

Is it advisable to update my poster frequently?
The internal search engine returns first the most recently updated posters. We suggest you update your poster once a month, also with a very minor update. Besides. those posters that do not have a minimal amount of text, do not appear among the results: this policy is implemented to encourage your usage of your poster. We suggest you fill in with at least 30 chars all of your poster text fields.

Why I can't post comments on a poster?
You need to be a member of Full Poster to post comments on another poster. Besides, some posters chose not to allow comments but from the owner of the poster.

I loaded images on my poster but they do not appear, why?
It may be a technical problem, in which case you are encouraged to communicate with us. Also, it may be you have been sanctioned and you can't post images for a few days or weeks. This may particularly happen if you previously inserted violent or pornographic images.

I inserted a web address, an email, or a phone number, but they don't appear: why?
It may be a technical problem, or you may have been sanctioned from posting those contents for a few days or weeks. This may happen, for instance, if you posted questionable addresses, or we got a credible complaint that you were using someone's else email or phone number. We strive to keep the environment free from jokes in bad taste, such as a poster for dating but the email is of someone else.

Why selecting subcategories in the update section is a slow process?
It may require up to one or two seconds. The validation performed in the background may be relatively slow on a few platforms, if we consider one or two seconds slow. Upon selecting, wait a couple of seconds to see the selection actually appear.

Why when I make a map my address becomes lowercase and the numbers of building get stripped off whilst I want them to appear in my poster?
Google maps haven't a resolution that attain the granularity of a building number. By stripping off such numbers, we actually provide you with more and not less chances of having a valid map returned. Since the process that generates a map is independent of saving the whole profile, first generate the map, then just before saving reinsert the numbers and uppercase format you prefer, and then do not generate any map anymore but just go at the bottom of the page and click the button to save the profile: it will be saved with the address format you inserted last.

Why my subcategory appears, in the update section, listed with others that do not belong?
Our major categories are few. Subcategories are summarized as belonging to those major categories. This does not mean that in a search you will appear listed together with those subcategories: searches are specific, and the system will discriminate smartly and you will eventually appear listed only with those entries that match the few subcategories you actually chose and selected among the many ones that were available.

Why you assign passwords, and numbers rather than nicknames, to your members?
Most systems require you to choose a password of your own only to annoy you later complaining the password you chose is unsafe, or they let you choose an username only to annoy you later for several rounds that the username is not available because it is taken. With our method your subscription happens in one instant: it make no sense that a system delegates to the user the compliance with parameters that the system knows better than the user. However, once accessed your poster with the assigned password, you may change it in the members area.

How can I delete my poster?
In the members area is present the option to completely delete a poster: all of its possible contents get deleted (blog, polls and all included) from the system, and its identification number may be reassigned to other new subscribers.

I got a free profile, why having advertisements on it seems mandatory?
For a paid poster (like those arranged on your behalf by us after your authorization), advertisements are disabled by default, but you can enable or disable them again at your discretion. For free posters instead Full Poster withholds the right to enable or disable the advertisements accordingly to system exigencies.

Does Full Poster follow the web standards?
Although this isn't mission critical, Full Poster decided to adopt the XHTML strict DTD, namely the most severe of the web standards. With the intentional exception of the image management page, all the pages are valid with regard to the above mentioned standard. However it is still possible that pages made by the users may not pass the validation: this may happen only if members include erroneous HTML formats on a template otherwise valid. Full Poster is a site whose contents are generated by the users, and not just by us.
