So often populated with criss-crossing stripes and wires whose nets and spirals, stretching coiling and turbinating, seem to overimpose upon each other as if fighting in a pursuit for supremacy, his paintings are irresistibly mindful of biological tissues stained with innumerable hues meant to highlight their minutest details; they are invincibly resembling substrates undergoing reagent treatments that induce chromogen amplifications; and they all eventually arise and stand as if surprised and frozen in action by the resolute power of some fluorescence scan microscopy.
